Being a book-lover is not always as glamorous as it seems. If you are reading in public, interruptions constantly yank you from the “zone.” The fight to get comfortable is a never-ending struggle. There is always the chance you will fall asleep and lose your place. If you’re accustomed to reading in bed, you’ll also likely drop the book on your face when that happens. And then, of course, there’s the struggle of all the other things you were supposed to do. How does one accomplish life and also read great books?

But there is solace in knowing that we do not face these problems alone — book-lovers everywhere struggle with these common problems on a daily basis. And it is pretty funny watching it happen to someone else.

See for yourself in BuzzFeed’s incredibly specific video for book-lovers and join us in uniting the book-loving community to understand that the struggle really is real!
