Quality Education for All

The number of children out of school has dropped to nearly half of what it was in the year 2000, which is absolutely fantastic! We’ve never seen the numbers plummet like this before, and it’s all thanks to the men and women who have fought and worked hard to give quality education to all people.

Their work means that 50 million children who wouldn’t have had the opportunity for an education less than fifteen years ago now have access to schools.

This is in part due to a global push to bring education to everyone in the world. We appreciate everyone who has done anything to help a child (or several children) somewhere get the education they need and deserve.

But there is still a long way to go before we reach that goal.

Education International represents more than 30 million educators in over 172 countries who are campaigning to provide quality teaching, tools, resources, and educational environments to children worldwide.
