This Amazing Interview With Malala Will Have You Rushing to the Bookstore!

Malala, following in her father’s footsteps, is an advocate for female education and the education of every child. She is also the youngest Nobel Prize laureate ever.

Since she emerged onto the world stage as a voice for girls’ education, Malala Yousafzai has been an inspiration to many to fight for equality for girls all around the world.

She has experienced some rough times in her hometown in Pakistan–the Taliban was trying to prevent women from going to school (for a while, they were prohibited from shopping as well) and banned television and radio. Even amid death threats, Malala and her father continued to fight for the human right to education.

In 2013, Malala released her powerful autobiography entitled “I Am Malala.” In this interview with Orion Publishing, Malala describes a small but poignant event that inspired her to pen her book.

Watch the video and learn more about Malala and her book.
